THE BEST. YES.

Okay, something pretty amazing just happened to me...

I was just playing Pokemon Alpha Sapphire, (Restarted it because I lost in my nuzlocke) and I was battling some random Pokemon to evolve a Magikarp I recently caught.
During one of the battles, I came across a Gloom. But not just any Gloom...
A Shiny Gloom.

I honestly couldn't believe my luck. I was also pretty panicked, because this has never happened to me before. I also realised that this would be my first legitimate shiny. The shinies I got it the past was that Gyrados, and a bunch of random Pokemon I got from a hacked game, so... They weren't special.

Anyways, this Gloom... He was actually pretty tough, even with a Pokemon 6 levels above it. Fortunately, with the help of Gardez, my Gardevoir, I was able to catch him.

Anyways, now I've got a decision to make... Bellossom or Vileplume?
I'm thinking Vileplume, since I need something to go against Fairy types, also because I'm a bit iffy about a male Bellossom, (Wow, that sounds so sexist...) but I'll listen to you guys, too!

Now, I don't know if he's even a good Pokemon, and I'm sure that other people have way more shinies than me, but...
You've gotta understand. Ever since I discovered Pokemon and shinies, I have been hunting in every single game I've played. I've searched for so long, only to find one at the most unexpected moment. I'm just... So happy.

Finally, I have my first ever shiny.


(Oh, and sorry for my non Pokemon watchers who may not understand this. In the Pokemon world, shines are the rarest thing to catch, so I'm feeling pretty ecstatic right now! )
